Including visiting my cottage and garden, I will also take visitors on a short walking tour, pointing out the narrow streetscapes and worker cottages of this historic Englefield area, finishing in our Heritage Rose Garden in nearby Beverley Park. Along the way I will explain the history of this early part of Christchurch as it links with the city and the Avon River, and I will also tell the story of Beverley Park and our Heritage Rose Garden and the way it links with a Native Garden. I would encourage questions on the different rose species in the garden and their care.
